What you will do
Maintain and verify provided control network;
Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated;
Coordinate and undertake planning and implementation of survey requirements to facilitate construction activities;
Maintain accurate survey records, documentation, and stamped submittals;
Provide layout at various stages of construction;
Monitoring, organize and manage survey operations and personnel;
Provide clear communication with client in a professional manner;
Manage as-builts information and digital records.
What you will bring
Post-secondary education in Surveying, Geomatics or Civil Engineering;
Advanced knowledge of survey methods, and engineering design;
Minimum 5 years of experience with GPS and total station in the construction industry;
Experience with Civil3D design software, specifically surface and corridor modeling, and exporting of design elements for use with Trimble survey equipment would be an asset;
Strong computer skills and proficient in the use of Microsoft office, data, surveying, and engineering-based software;
Excellent communication and organizational skills;
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, travel out of town, and hold a valid driver’s license.
