What you will do
Collaborate with engineers, architects and project managers on drafting, designing, and managing construction projects from repairs to new construction developments.
Prepare design calculations, drawings and specifications.
Prepare technical reports documenting the findings and conclusions of forensic investigations.
Communicate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure that designs are properly implemented and meet project requirements.
Provide quality control reviews, building assessments, and conduct inspections on properties to determine appropriate repair work.
Ensure a well-established channel of communication between the clients and the team members.
What you will bring
A bachelor’s degree in Structural engineering or related discipline and be registered as a Professional Engineer.
Minimum of five years of engineering experience in a similar industry or role.
Advance understanding and experience of wood-frame, concrete and steel structures and reading blueprints.
Varied knowledge of different building types; including residential, commercial, industrial and institutional.
Proven competencies in the following areas: technical writing, problem-solving with the ability to present solutions in a logical and concise manner.
