What you will do
Support the Civil team and Project Managers through the delivery of field surveys, design calculations, drawing preparation and modeling. Projects would include drainage, earthworks, water and sewage works, stormwater and wastewater collection systems, and related infrastructure;
Perform detailed design work through detailed calculations, use of design software, selection of materials and equipment, preparation of reports, and assisting in the production of construction drawings and plans;
Manage stakeholders including client relations, and coordination with regulators and other third parties;
Conduct project and site reviews.
What you will bring
Civil Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent education or experience;
Minimum of five years experience in a similar industry or role;
Strong working knowledge of survey practices and procedures. Experience in construction layout survey and topographic survey would be an asset;
Experience with Civil3D design software, specifically surface and corridor modeling, and exporting of design elements for use with Trimble survey equipment would be beneficial for this role.
