What you will do
Perform environmental technical functions related to the following activities:
Hazardous building material assessment projects
Monitoring during hazmat remediation projects
Mould assessment and remediation design
Technical specification preparation
Air Quality Monitoring, Mould and Asbestos Sampling and Abatement
Emergency spill response
Conduct field work, manage assigned projects and prepare technical environmental reports.
Participate in marketing and business development activities and initiatives.
What you will bring
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in environmental sciences or equivalent is preferred
Experience in Asbestos, Hazmat, IAQ projects and field consulting is required
Results orientated with strong practice knowledge of the insurance industry, construction and/or restoration contracting
Knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements, provincial legislation and municipal bylaws
Demonstrated competency in client services, accountability, and report writing
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, and Office Suite.
