What you will do
Strategic Planning and Support. This role will work closely with the Executive team to develop and implement an operational business plan for Western Canada.
Team Leadership. Lead the Western Environmental team by driving performance and team objectives; operational processes; coaching, supporting and mentoring team members, developing a workplace culture that embraces change and adapts to evolving business requirements.
Project and Technical Delivery. Provide engineering, technical direction, guidance, and support to work groups. Ensure projects and deliverables are achieved in collaboration with the leadership team to provide clear communication and instructions. Develops a workforce plan to meet business needs.
Operational Delivery. Ensure all projects, initiatives and processes are adhered to within the organizational established policies and procedures. Monitor operational efficiency and revenue to ensure productivity and targets are compliant with corporate standards.
Client Delivery. Sets KPI for the team and ensure client expectations are met. Follows up with key clients to ensure successful delivery.
Business Development. Seeks new business opportunities to achieve financial and business targets. Participate in industry events, education and webinars, and trade shows. Prepare and submit proposals in response to RFP’s.
What you will bring
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Environment from a recognized post-secondary institution, or a combination of equivalent education and work experience will be considered.
Related experience in environmental consulting, and field experience and knowledge of construction, disaster restoration, and/or the insurance industry is required.
Knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements, provincial legislation and municipal bylaws.
Proven work experience in business development and client management
Demonstrated competency in the following areas: leadership, relationship building, and results orientated.
