What you will do
Content Development. Research and write content for press releases, articles, corporate initiatives, social media, advertising campaigns, and the MBC Group website. Proofread new or existing content for errors, inconsistencies to improve readability. Create content that will capture the attention of target audience.
Proposal Development. Research, write, and organize information in a professional and credible manner. Create strategies that will compel others to take appropriate action. Edit and revise proposals based on feedback. Maintain consistency in proposal writing by following company policies.
Business Development. Review company products, services, and /or business ideas. Identify corporate needs, recommend new content to address gaps in the company’s current content, and conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop novel content.
Advertising and Marketing. Work with the Marketing team to create graphics and visuals for company website, infographics, blogs, and newsletters. Use search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to increase traffic to company website.
What you will bring
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field
Proven content writing or copywriting experience
Previous experience in proposal writing is considered an asset
Working knowledge of content management systems
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Bilingual in French and English is considered an asset
Excellent writing and editing skills
